uni days with glassons

Outfits for Glassons
My day to day outfits consists of comfort and ease, anything to make uni and study life easy. I recently worked with Glasson's newest capsule collection, "Lakeside Lodge" to edit a few pieces to encapsulate that comfort and ease I need during long study hours, and went straight for their track pant and t-shirt dress.. though it feels like I only recently just got out of a Winter and now into a slow transition of Sydney Winter,  I'm pretty excited to get layered up again.

Weekend diary

Since I've been back from the big apple and up until now, the juggle between what I do (as mentioned in my first Surface Pro 3 post here) has been the biggest challenge by far in this lyff of adulthood. No one prepares you for this, being thrown in the deep end and experiencing it all first hand - the multi-tasking, working before and after work, staying passionate, keeping on top of assessments, sometimes forgetting deadlines and putting time aside for friends & family.

It's not the juggle of everything that is the hard part, it's the doing it well part - not to say that this isn't something I choose to do, as I appreciate every moment of it (even when I'm writing an essay the day of due date - I do not reccommend), but sometimes it's a little daunting & all young, dream chasin' adolescence will experience this in some form or the other.. and that's why it's so important to stay focused and organised.. I travelled with the Surface Pro 3 last week and with the help of Office 365; organising fashion week shows on Calendar, finishing assessments off OneNote, sorting out emails on Outlook on the plane & setting up conference meetings through Lync. I'll be writing up an in depth post on staying organised and on top of Uni/work life outside of uni next

32.4 collab

Over the past year, I’ve been working closely - back and forth with Anna, from 32.4. We’ve been working on an exciting project that we’ll be releasing mid this year.. sketching, mood boarding and finding inspiration to try and curate the perfect go - to capsule collection of tiny, tough & silver pieces.
In life, I’m all about keeping things at low maintenance. Less is more, keeping things at minimal effort - this includes, beauty & hair, getting ready in the morning & of course - lifestyle and style in general. I incorporate this in the finer details, from not brushing my hair (not purposely, most times I just cannot be bothered), to trying to save some trees & saving everything on PDF files on my Surface Pro 3 to the jewellery I wear on my fingers, ears, neck & wrists. Jewellery that allows me to type & write without discomfort, that allows me to go for a quick dip in the ocean without removing anything, pieces that are timeless for day & for night.

I’ve been in a little uninspired lately for trying to curate these pieces, so I met up with Anna the other night and talked about all things silver related. Sharing images and mood boards over OneDrive, deleting, adding and removing and brainstorming concepts & design details.
I’m very new to this whole design process, so making sure I am motivated and organised constantly is a very important element in this process. I’ve been making some quick little mood boards of my favourite imagery that have sparked some ideas with the help of my OneDrive folder that is now slowly overloading with a whole bunch of photos I’ve been pulling over the past month. I’ve added a few fancy little tweaks here and there on Fresh Paint, which I’ve also included above.. just to sort of show you guys the mood we’re going for and what you can expect!
It may change over the next few weeks.. but that’s why this whole design process is so fun. I’ve been documenting this project all on a OneDrive folder, so I can’t wait to show you guys the design process as a whole when all the samples are finished.
